The Brunkhorst family started Elastomer Engineering in 1978.
Initially, EEI provided custom molded polyurethane parts for the paper industry in Wisconsin, the taconite mines of northern Minnesota, and the packinghouses of the Midwest.
Over the course of 39 years, the company grew and expanded to provide services for countless industries including, heavy equipment, recreational industry, the food industry, lumber, railroad, mining, printing, aggregate, canning, military and agricultural applications. Diversification has proved to be the key to EEI’s success.
Elastomer Engineering has grown to be a leader in the aggregate industry. Years of careful development of high performance polyurethanes have developed into an outstanding reputation in the sand and gravel industry. Highly abrasion-resistant polyurethanes have proven to be both an engineer’s and a buyer’s problem solvers in this industry.
